The auction, which kicked off on a Thursday, will run for ten electrifying days, showcasing treasures from the inception of baseball to contemporary sports cards. Among the early standout lots, collectors can feast their eyes on a T206 White Border Ty Cobb Bat Off Shoulder card dating back to 1909-1911, sporting a rare Uzit back. Additionally, a Ty Cobb rookie card from the 1907 Wolverine News Postcard series adds to the allure of this prestigious event.

Noteworthy highlights from the auction extend to vintage baseball sets like the complete 1957 Topps Set, the near-complete 1958 Topps set, and a selection of high-grade cards from the 1950s Bowman and Topps collections, including rookie cards of baseball legends such as Willie Mays, Mickey Mantle, and Sandy Koufax. The auction also introduces a complete set break of the iconic 1951 Bowman set, adding an extra layer of nostalgia for avid collectors.

In the realm of memorabilia, the auction boasts gems like a ticket stub from the 1957 NFL Championship Game and a 1920 Real Photo Postcard featuring the Harvard football team that graced the Rose Bowl stage.

Brian Dwyer, the President of REA, expressed his enthusiasm for the exciting offerings in this auction, emphasizing the exceptional quality of the lots following the triumphant $15.4 million spring sale. Dwyer underlined the keen interest from avid collectors and the premium stature of the items available for bidding.
