Upper Deck Welcomes Hockey Prodigy Michael Misa

Upper Deck, a renowned name in sports collectibles, has unveiled an exclusive partnership with the promising junior hockey player, Michael Misa. Expected to be the top pick in the 2025 NHL Draft, Misa stands out as a rising star in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL), having earned the prestigious “Exceptional Status” at the age of 15, a distinction granted to only six players in the league’s history. Now at 17, Misa has already clinched the OHL Rookie of the Year title and the esteemed Emms Family Award.

The President of Upper Deck, Jason Masherah, expressed great excitement about welcoming Misa to the Upper Deck family. The company looks forward to curating and releasing an exceptional collection of Misa’s memorabilia and trading cards. This collection aims to provide fans with innovative ways to celebrate Misa’s burgeoning career, featuring both physical collectibles and digital formats.

Fans can look forward to an exclusive memorabilia collection that includes autographed game-used pucks from Misa’s team, the Saginaw Spirit, prints of Misa’s jersey with the #77, and autographed jerseys showcasing pivotal moments from his early career. Additionally, Upper Deck has launched three limited-edition Game Dated Moments trading cards on UpperDeckEpack.com to commemorate Misa’s milestones, such as being the #1 pick in the 2022 OHL Priority Draft, scoring his first goal, and achieving the Rookie of the Year accolade. The first 25 collectors to complete the set will receive a special treat: an autographed version of Misa’s Rookie of the Year award card, which is available for purchase until February 22.

Expressing his enthusiasm, Michael Misa shared his excitement about joining the distinguished roster of athletes at Upper Deck, which includes hockey icons like Wayne Gretzky and Connor McDavid. Misa highlighted the significance of this partnership in fulfilling childhood aspirations and allowing him to connect with fans by sharing his journey. This collaboration not only celebrates the rapid ascent of a young hockey talent but also upholds Upper Deck’s legacy of offering fans unique collectibles that bring them closer to their sports heroes through immersive and engaging products.
