INDYCAR and Parkside Cards Join Forces for Exciting New Trading Card Series

As the 2024 INDYCAR season draws near, fans of the exhilarating open-wheel racing circuit have something extra to get excited about. INDYCAR has teamed up with Parkside Cards for a three-year partnership dedicated to launching a new collection of trading cards. This fantastic collaboration, set to debut on March 1, aims to bring fans closer to the action by offering a range of collectibles, contests, and giveaways that will enhance the race weekend experience.

The INDYCAR Collection by Parkside will be available to fans at race events, as well as in retail stores and online. The partnership includes an array of initiatives designed to engage fans and provide them with unique experiences. One of the highlights is the inclusion of redemption cards, which offer fans the chance to win signed memorabilia. Additionally, a grand prize contest will give lucky winners the opportunity to attend the iconic Indy 500.

Parkside Cards, known for their card collections featuring the US Women’s National Soccer Team and the National Women’s Soccer League, is expanding their portfolio with this exciting partnership in the world of motorsport. The INDYCAR Collection Hobby boxes, priced at $88.99 plus shipping, contain 20 packs, each containing eight cards. These boxes guarantee fans two autographed cards. Retail hanger packs, on the other hand, comprise 25 cards, with one autographed card included in every 18th pack.

One of the unique offerings in this trading card series are the relic cards that contain actual pieces of bricks from the historic Indianapolis Motor Speedway. This addition adds a tangible and thrilling piece of racing history to fans’ card collections. The base set of the series includes 162 cards, accompanied by a 72-card Marquee Moments insert set, as well as thematic inserts like Race Events, Pit Pass, and Indy NXT. Fans can collect autographs from 27 different drivers, with special Blue, Black, and 1/1 Gold parallels that enhance the collectibility of the series.

Mark Miles, President and CEO of Penske Entertainment Corp., expressed his enthusiasm for this partnership. He emphasized the importance of trading cards as a means for fans to connect with their favorite stars in the world of motorsport. Miles anticipates that the new INDYCAR trading card series will provide fans with a dynamic way to engage with the personalities and talents that make this sport so captivating.

Pre-sales for the 2024 INDYCAR boxes are already underway, and the racing season is scheduled to kick off in St. Petersburg, FL, on March 10. This exciting venture between INDYCAR and Parkside Cards marks a significant development for racing enthusiasts and collectors alike. It offers a fresh and interactive way to celebrate the thrill of INDYCAR racing, and provides fans with the opportunity to win autographed memorabilia while immersing themselves in the excitement of the Indy 500.
