Fanatics Launches ‘The Ten’ Program to Reward Collectors for Finding Top Sports Cards

Fanatics Collectibles, in collaboration with Fanatics Live, has recently launched an exciting new initiative called ‘The Ten’. This program is designed to highlight and reward the discovery of the top 10 sports cards in the market. Drawing inspiration from lists like the “Billboard Hot 100” and the FBI’s “Most Wanted”, ‘The Ten’ showcases a dynamic selection of 10 cards spanning all sports. Collectors who successfully pull one of these cards on the Fanatics Live app will be awarded a whopping $10,000 in Fanatics Live credit.

‘The Ten’ will feature a monthly rotation of cards, carefully chosen for their popularity and rarity. Some examples of the cards that will be included are the highly sought-after 2023-24 Bowman Chrome University Bronny James/LeBron James 1/1 dual-auto card and the yet-to-be-pulled 2023 Bowman Chrome Baseball Draft Tom Brady 12/50 inscribed card.

The inaugural list of ‘The Ten’ includes legendary athletes like Tom Brady and Steph Curry, as well as rising stars such as MLB’s Corbin Carroll and Anthony Volpe, and NBA’s Luka Doncic and Chet Holmgren. This diverse portfolio encompasses cards from various brands, including Panini, Upper Deck, Topps, and Bowman.

James Kollar, senior director of marketing at Fanatics Live, expressed the program’s goal of enhancing the collecting experience and their commitment to giving back to collectors and the hobby. ‘The Ten’ aims to foster community engagement by allowing Fanatics Live participants and the collecting community to have a say in the monthly card selections.

In addition to highlighting top sports cards, ‘The Ten’ also serves as a platform to promote new products and reinvigorate interest in existing releases with chase cards. By showcasing these cards and creating excitement and discussion within the community, both dealers and collectors benefit from heightened engagement.

To celebrate major discoveries and announce upcoming cards, Fanatics Live plans to feature pack and box breaks, as well as special shows centered around ‘The Ten’. A dedicated webpage will be created to track the cards and their finders, adding to the narrative and storytelling aspect of the program.

‘The Ten’ is not only about the cards themselves but also the stories behind the collectors and their finds. This unique storytelling aspect adds another layer of excitement to the program. Since its launch, Fanatics Live has experienced consistent growth, with an average watch time of 56 minutes, revealing its emergence as a community-focused platform. James Kollar is excited about the potential impact of ‘The Ten’ on the Fanatics brand and the collector community.

In conclusion, Fanatics Live’s ‘The Ten’ program is set to revolutionize the sports card collecting industry. By highlighting and rewarding the discovery of top sports cards, ‘The Ten’ will not only enhance the collecting experience for enthusiasts but also cultivate a sense of community engagement. With its monthly rotation of cards, diverse portfolio, and unique storytelling aspect, ‘The Ten’ is sure to captivate the hearts of collectors and sports fans alike.
