Mile High Card Company Post-Holiday Auction: Vintage Collectibles

Mile High Card Company, known for its dedication to vintage card enthusiasts, has launched its highly anticipated Extra Innings Auction on Tuesday, May 28, following the holiday weekend. With over 1,200 lots in its online catalog, the auction promises a treasure trove for collectors with a wide range of budgets.

At the forefront of this auction are some remarkable pieces that are sure to capture the attention of seasoned collectors. Highlights include a PSA 9 graded 1973 Topps Mike Schmidt rookie card, a 1951 Bowman Mickey Mantle rookie card graded PSA 6 (MC), and a T206 Ty Cobb Portrait with a red background rated SGC 3. These cards hold immense historical significance and rarity, making them coveted items among enthusiasts.

Aside from these individual gems, the auction also boasts complete and partial sets, such as a 1956 Topps set featuring multiple graded cards, providing a diverse and comprehensive collection for bidders to explore.

Among the items up for bidding are a variety of Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig cards from the 1933 Goudey series, a 1950 Bowman Jackie Robinson card graded SGC 5 EX, and a 1952 Topps Willie Mays card also graded SGC 5. The auction showcases sports legends across different eras, with standouts like a 1954 Topps Henry Aaron card graded PSA 3 and a 1961 Topps Mickey Mantle card graded PSA 7.
