Topps NCAA March Madness Basketball Card Series

Topps, the renowned trading card company, has joined forces with the NCAA for the inaugural release of the March Madness Basketball Card Series. This exciting collaboration offers avid collectors and basketball enthusiasts alike the opportunity to own a piece of the NCAA action in the form of exclusive cards. Priced at $139.99 per pack, each set contains eight cards, with a guaranteed autograph card featuring standout players from the college basketball scene.

The star-studded roster of athletes showcased in this series includes the likes of Zach Edey, Purdue’s standout player and recipient of the men’s Player of the Year award, and Caitlin Clark, the women’s Player of the Year from Iowa. Each pack not only features the coveted autograph card but also comprises six base cards and one parallel card with a limited edition number, making the collection both unique and valuable for collectors.

Fans have until Thursday to get their hands on these exclusive packs, which can be purchased through Topps’ official website. Additionally, lucky collectors have the chance to come across dual autograph cards in one out of every ten packs, adding an extra layer of excitement to the hunt for these special items.

The card series shines a spotlight on a select group of 20 prominent athletes from the world of college basketball. The lineup encompasses a mix of rising stars and established talents, with players like Reed Sheppard and Rob Dillingham representing Kentucky, and Caitlin Clark and Aaliyah Edwards flying the flag for UConn on the women’s side.

Featuring a blend of men’s and women’s basketball stars, the collection also includes dual autograph cards that showcase dynamic pairings such as Clark/Edey and Reese/Van Lith. These unique cards are sure to be highly sought after by collectors looking to add a touch of rarity to their sports memorabilia collections.

The collaboration with the NCAA not only allows Topps to incorporate the iconic March Madness branding into their products but also hints at future joint projects between the two entities. The March Madness logo adds an extra layer of authenticity and excitement to the card series, making it a must-have for fans of college basketball and card collectors alike.

As part of the release, Topps will bid farewell to featuring Caitlin Clark in their card series on April 1, as she gears up for an exclusive trading card agreement with Panini America. This limited-time opportunity to own a card featuring Clark adds an extra layer of exclusivity to the series, making it a must-have for fans of the talented young basketball star.

With over 120 Bowman U cards released this season through the Topps NOW platform, including 61 cards showcasing college basketball talents, the collaboration between Topps and the NCAA continues to bring the vibrancy and excitement of college sports to collectors worldwide.
